The month of September opens with the first major Italian trade fair event after the outbreak of the pandemic: Il salone del Mobile.Milan .It will take place from 5 to 10 September in Fiera Milano Rho, open to the public and professionals in the sector.
How it is organized
The event has been christened "Supersalone" to represent the courage and passion of the best part of Italian entrepreneurship and creativity, but this is just one of the novelties to be discovered.
For the first time, in fact, the great design brands, young makers, international schools, the great icons of design, the greatest Italian chefs and many protagonists of the art and architecture sceneare exhibiting together.
All fittings have been designed to be reused or recycled.
The products of the best companies can also be viewed live, but booked or purchased only online. As anticipated, the list of novelties is long, but the one on which we prefer to focus is the new digital platform.
The introduction of digital
The organizers have decided to support the physical event with a digital support that was inaugurated on June 30th, it can be visited at: www.salonemilano.it. Its motto is: "The leading design voice, on air now"; it is not a simple site, but an alter ego of the traditional event we know.
This digital platform gives the possibility to keep the fair alive for all 365 days of next year. It will support the consultation of products and any purchases and will act as a bridge to contact the artists who exhibit.
Thanks to the advance of the inauguration of the platform, potential visitors have already been able to approach the event. They will be able to follow webinars during the event or participate in a "breakout room" reserved for customers and, finally, continue to consult the fair for the rest of the year. Thanks to the advent of digital the visitor is involved before, during and after the event. It is a complete immersion in the experience of the fair that accompanies the public on an endless journey.
The physical event also changes. There will be neither the classic 24 pavilions nor the division into stands, but vertical walls on which companies can offer their products and their storytelling.
